2019 Belt & Road International Healthcare Cooperation Promotion Conference will be held in Haikou City, Hainan Province in June 29 - July 1.

With a theme of “Health Silk Road, Built by Innovation Based Win-win Cooperation”, the Conference is expected to be able to present an opportunity for participants to show successful cooperation cases, exchange opinions on hospital management & clinical specialty development& advanced medical technologies, healthcare policy making & public healthcare problems, etc. Government officials, hospital administrators, experts from related countries, representatives from academic and research institutes and pharmaceutical industry, are expected to attend. Cooperation Agreements would be encouraged to be signed during the Conference.

2019 Belt & Road International Healthcare Cooperation Promotion Conference aims to: 
1. Summarize and showcase progress and best practices of International Collaboration in the hospital management & clinical specialties & public health sector so far; 
2. Discuss and explore ways to enhance & further expand cooperation, thus move practical collaborations to the next level in the new era; 
3. Find business cooperation opportunities through in-depth communications. 

As one of the first international conferences focusing on facilitating academic communication & cooperation on hospital development, the outcomes of the Conference includes: 

1. Belt & Road Joint Declaration on Hospital Cooperation. It will delineate the basis of hospital cooperation among countries along the Silk Road, as well as clarify the common interests. The declaration welcomes suggestions from all related parties.
